Kip Moore say he's "truly honored" to be in the running for a Country Music Association award.
The singer admits it's been "a long road" to get to this point in his career, but he "wouldn't trade" any of it "for the quick and easy route."
Kip adds that the nomination is providing him with "a little extra inspiration" as he finishes up his follow up to his debut album, Up All Night.
Moore is among the hopefuls for New Artist of the Year, along with Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, and top nominee Kacey Musgraves.
The 47th annual CMA Awards will be presented in Nashville on November 6th. ABC will air the event live.
