(Cleveland) - The MAC Tournament means more business for Cleveland bars and restaurants.
Steve Zornes is manager of the City Tap bar and grille on Prospect Avenue, just down from Quicken Loans Arena, and says the more downtown events the better.
As far as the MAC Tournament is concerned, Zornes explains that state teams bring in the most business, and he's expecting a big boost from Akron, Ohio, Miami of Ohio and Toledo fans. He says it's too bad Kent and Cleveland State aren't in the running.
Zornes reveals that City Tap was pre-booked for Bowling Green basketball backers early. He expects a lot of basketball fans will be dropping by City Tap, before, between, and after the games.
